ABOUT ME
Hello! My name is Kevin Wilson. I am a dedicated post-production professional with over 10 years of experience in, specifically as an Offline Picture Editor. What began as a childhood interest, became a large part of who I am as an adult. The strong dedication to the craft that I've developed has allowed me to work across a variety of platforms, genres, and styles and with some incredible people.
Starting as a local videographer and editor in Denver, Colorado, I quickly grew my clientele working with Automobile giants, Škoda UK and Subaru of America. From there, my career took many turns and I eventually joined the Motion Picture Editors Guild in 2017 and relocated to Atlanta, Georgia. I then started working in network Television as an Assistant Editor, and working my way up to the editors chair. In 2022, I was honored to part of a team to receive a show-wide Emmy nomination. This eventually led me to join the Television Academy in 2024, planting my dedication and love for storytelling through Post. I believe that every frame has a story to tell, and I’m committed to bringing those stories to life with creativity and precision.
I love the challenge of editing. Every project feels like piecing together a puzzle. And nothing feels better than collaborating with a team to discover the tone, rhythm, and shaping the Final Cut into a final work of art. It is an exhilarating experience that always feels fresh. No matter my role, I strive to help the team in any way I can to craft the best story possible and create something we can all take pride in. I've received praise for my attention to detail, the quality of my work, creativity and my supportive nature, making me a valuable asset as we navigate the complexities of post-production.
When I'm not editing, you'll find me; learning more about current technology, hiking, casually playing games with friends and family or obsessing over coffee. Life has so many unique elements to it, and being able to enjoy that both professionally and personally makes life interesting and worth every minute.
